Welcome to Shirleys Kitchen! We are the best little takeaway shop in Mackay! We are situated on the busy Peak Downs Highway - Gateway to the Coalfields. A lot of you knew it as Racecourse Store. Since moving here in 2006 I've not only changed the name but I've also made changes to the store and the way things are done hopefully for the better.

	We also have a good range of takeaway lines all cooked in the best quality Heart Foundation Approved Cooking Oil.
	All of our meat is the very best quality available in town. Our roasts and CornedMeat are cooked here & we also make our own mince patties. Our Bread and Breadrolls are made especially for us and contain no preservatives. As advertised we really do have the best burgers and sandwiches in town.
	The thing that sets us apart from your average takeaway is our huge variety of ready to heat & eat homemade microwavable frozen meals. All are cooked fresh and Snap frozen to maintain freshness, quality and goodness. Perfect for everyone! All meals contain only the very best ingredients & yes, they can be made to order (Minimum of 24 hours notice required). Bulk orders welcome & every seventh meal is FREE.
	We make our own Gelato Ice Cream. Low in Fat and Sugar and made with real fruit and Natural flavours where possible and available all year round. Flavours include Coconut, Mango, Passionfruit, Chocolate and more
